I've been talking about this for over a year now, and it's looming ever closer.
THE BOLDER BOULDER
Now, I know not everyone runs, but I still think you should join me. We can be in the 90-100 minute jog/walk wave. There are also walk/jog and walking waves, but I think everyone is younger than I am and you can keep up with me. So far DJ, AtP and Sully have agreed to wear my proposed team shirt:
Well, truthfully, Sully hasn't said he will, but I know he'll say yes and it will look stunning on him.
However, the shirt isn't mandatory, and if you believe it will emasculate you, you can choose another.
Just come.
Run with me...
It will be so much fun....
Thank goodness I live in Texas....or I might be tempted to go. It would be the last thing I did as I would drop dead before the 1st mile....maybe if it was a very slow walk.
ReplyDeleteI'd totally wear that shirt. It'd probably be one of the least "emasculating" things about me.
ReplyDeleteAJ--Texas isn't really that far from Boulder Colorado...
ReplyDelete[@&#^$*%]--So, are you coming?
I'm so tempted. I'm not sure that there's actually enough time for me to train sufficiently that I don't make a complete fool of myself, though. Perhaps I'll put it on the list of things to do next year. (Visiting you, though, is definitely on the list of things to do sooner.)
ReplyDeleteSam, STOP swearing at me!
ReplyDeleteAm I coming? Its possible. Although I don't know if my car would make it that far. And I don't know if my foot will be healed enough by then... I really have no idea what I'll even be doing by the end of May - I may still be working, or I may have started going to classes again.
[@#$%^&]: I have to swear at you. My keyboard can't spell your name. :)
ReplyDeleteAmbrosia: It's a run/walk team. You don't have to be in shape.
