1969 Scooby-Doo Where Are You? Intro

Today my kids and I spent four hours watching OLD cartoons and eating popcorn. I love Scooby Doo. So glad they have DVD's of cartoons that came out a million years ago.

  1. I love Scooby Doo! When I was like 4 or 5, I'd run around the room in circles when the theme song would come on. The best Scooby Doo episodes are the Scooby Doo movies around 1972 when special guest stars would visit the show, such as Don Knotts, Sandy Duncan, Batman and Robin, or the Adams Family. Those were by far my favorite!

  2. Those old ones are awesome! Far better than the stupid copies they come up with now.

  3. I guess I should clarify, I watched the episodes in the early 1980s. I was not even alive in 1972.

  4. Scooby Doo is great!! I don't know how much I watched as an actual "little kid," but as a young teenager I think I was at my height of Scooby Doo-ness. I'm sure I've seen every single episode of the original old ones (meaning not the new 'stupid copies'... and I think I've seen most of those movies Rich mentioned)... more than once.

I've always loved good children's shows (note the word 'good' in there... many of children's cartoons in the last dozen or so years have been worthless).

  5. Scooby is great. He always reminds me of my sister, actually, since she's been obsessed with him since she was three.
